- Customer means an individual who subscribes to tiffin services through the Provider using our platform.
- Device means any device that can access the Service such as a computer, a cell phone or a digital tablet.
- Personal Data is any information that relates to an identified or identifiable individual.
- Provider means a registered tiffin service provider who uses our Application to manage their tiffin business.
- Service refers to the Tiffine Service Provider Application.
- Service Provider means any natural or legal person who processes the data on behalf of the Company.
- Subscription means the paid access to the Service after the free trial period.
- Usage Data refers to data collected automatically, either generated by the use of the Service or from the Service infrastructure itself.
- You means the individual accessing or using the Service as a Provider.
Collecting and Using Your Personal Data

Personal Data
While using Our Service, We may ask You to provide Us with certain personally identifiable information that can be used to contact or identify You. Personally identifiable information may include, but is not limited to:

- Payment information via Razorpay (we do not store full payment card details)

Customer Data Collected by Providers
When You use our Service as a Provider, You may collect and process personal information of Your Customers, including:
- Customer names and contact details
- Customer preferences (lunch/dinner preferences, dietary restrictions)
- Customer subscription and billing information
- Customer service history and feedback
Important: As a Provider, You are responsible for complying with applicable privacy laws regarding the Customer data You collect through our platform.
Usage Data
Usage Data is collected automatically when using the Service. Usage Data may include information such as Your Device's Internet Protocol address (e.g. IP address), browser type, browser version, the pages of our Service that You visit, the time and date of Your visit, the time spent on those pages, unique device identifiers and other diagnostic data.
Use of Your Personal Data
The Company may use Personal Data for the following purposes:
Core Service Functionality
- To provide and maintain our Service, including to monitor the usage of our Service.
- To manage Your Account: to manage Your registration as a Provider of the Service.
- For subscription management: To process Your 7-day free trial and subsequent subscription payments through Razorpay.
Email Communications
We use email services for the following specific purposes:
- Verification Emails: Sending OTP (One-Time Password) to Providers during registration for account verification
- Customer Credential Sharing: When Providers add new Customers, the Customer's login credentials are sent via email
- Billing Communications: Sending invoices and payment reminders to Customers on behalf of Providers
- Administrative Communications: Account-related notifications, subscription updates, and policy changes
Subscription and Payment Processing
Free Trial and Subscription Model
- We offer a 7-day free trial period from the date of Provider registration
- After the free trial period, a paid subscription via Razorpay is required to continue using the Service
- Only subscribed Providers can access all features of the Application
Razorpay Integration
- We use Razorpay as our third-party payment processor
- Razorpay collects and processes payment information according to their Privacy Policy
- We receive confirmation of successful payments but do not store sensitive payment card details
- Subscription status is synchronized with our Service to control access to features
Tiffine Service Specific Features
- To facilitate menu management: Enable You to add dishes, create menus, and manage meal preferences
- To manage customer interactions: Process Customer responses (yes/no) for tiffin services
- To provide billing functionality: Generate bills for Customers and maintain billing records
- To maintain customer lists: Store and display Your Customer information
- To send service reminders: Automate menu and payment reminders to Customers via push notifications
Sharing Your Personal Information
We may share Your personal information in the following situations:
- With Service Providers: We may share Your personal information with Service Providers to monitor and analyze the use of our Service, to contact You, to process payments through Razorpay, and to send emails for verification and transactional purposes.
- With Your Customers: When You use our Service as a Provider, certain information (Your business name and contact details) will be shared with Your Customers who subscribe to Your tiffin services.
- For business transfers: We may share or transfer Your personal information in connection with business transfers.
- With Affiliates: We may share Your information with Our affiliates.
- With business partners: We may share Your information with Our business partners.
- With other users: Your business profile may be visible to potential Customers.
- With Your consent: We may disclose Your personal information for any other purpose with Your consent.
Retention of Your Personal Data
The Company will retain Your Personal Data only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy. We will retain and use Your Personal Data to the extent necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our legal agreements and policies.
Specifically, we retain:
- Account information: For as long as Your account is active plus 2 years
- Subscription and payment data: 7 years for tax and accounting purposes
- Customer data collected by Providers: According to Your settings and requirements
- Email communications: 3 years for record-keeping purposes
Delete Your Personal Data
You have the right to delete or request that We assist in deleting the Personal Data that We have collected about You. You may update, amend, or delete Your information at any time by signing in to Your Account or by contacting Us.
Security of Your Personal Data
The security of Your Personal Data is important to Us, but remember that no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While We strive to use commercially reasonable means to protect Your Personal Data, We cannot guarantee its absolute security.

Children's Privacy
